Set up Dedicated SIL Houses

Setting up dedicated SIL houses allows you to customise your living space allocations and arrangements in Nightingale according to your preferences. You can specify the maximum occupancy, the number of staff members assigned to the house, and any special features such as a wheelchair ramp or a secure backyard. These features can be associated with a specific house. Additionally, you can define age ranges for residents, whether it’s a residence for young individuals, older adults, single sex, or a diverse mix of occupants.

SIL House Vacancy Report

The vacancy report serves as our tool to help allocate personnel to houses. If a client/participant has not been assigned to a house yet, this report will display their preferences. These preferences may include gender-specific housing, age group preferences, and specific house features. By analyzing the requirements of each client/participant, the report matches them with suitable vacant houses. In essence, the report streamlines the process of finding the most suitable housing option for each client/participant.

Import Rosters of Care directly into the Roster

The Roster of Care, also known as the ROC, is a spreadsheet provided by the government funding agency to assist organisations in setting up complex rosters efficiently.  Nightingale directly integrates the ROC into the Nightingale roster.

The ROC spreadsheets are particularly useful for creating initial rosters, and Nightingale has a feature that allows you to upload the ROC spreadsheet, automatically extract all data, generate pending rosters, and then proceed to review and confirm the mapping of rosters to clients/participants, funding, and additional services.

For example, clients/participants may have various services such as Assisted Employment or individual community participation shifts. Nightingale enables you to map these services and effortlessly generate all rosters in the calendar with just one click. This automation significantly reduces the time and effort required, transforming what used to take hours into a matter of minutes.
